Here at Medicus we continue to focus on advising and supporting our members to practice safely within the New Zealand health system. The board recognises that there is unprecedented pressure on all aspects of the health sector and health practitioners. There have been and still are ongoing fundamental changes to the way we deliver health care. In addition our workforce is changing with the likelihood of greater numbers of international medical graduates coming to NZ as borders will open in July.
In this issue we look at ways our members can be better prepared, consider support for international colleagues and address some New Zealand specific issues.
